    Srimathumitha

    Srimathumitha was born on 21st March in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Her father O.S. Mani is a retired chief engineer from the merchant navy and her mother Hemlata Mani is an exceptional Veena player.

    Her sister Charulata Mani is a famous Carnatic playback singer. Sri did her schooling in Hindu senior secondary school and high schooling at Vidhyashram high school. She completed her BCA from Meena Muthaiah College.

    Sri is currently pursuing her MA in Yoga for Human Excellence in Madras University.

    She plays the violin and has taken piano lessons till 3rd grade. She’s married to a Chennai based software engineer Ashwin Vishwanathan.

    Since she was born in a family of musicians she also underwent shikshai for several years under the guidance of Smt. Savitri Satyamurthy. She’s apparently taking advanced lessons from Sri Seetharam Sharma. Her devotional inclination and her admiration of M.S.
