Kim Johnson Biography
Kim Johnson is an American Emmy award-winning journalist currently working for WCCO since joining the WCCO-TV News team in May Johnson is the host of This Morning and Saturday Morning shows presented by WCCO.
Prior to joining WCCO, she worked as an anchor for FOX 18 and WDIO.

Johnson was enrolled in Maple Grove High School. She drew on herself in reporting and turned into the school paper’s Editor in Chief. In the wake of moving on from secondary school, Johnson went to the University of Minnesota and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in both Women’s Studies and Journalism.
Additionally, Johnson has a political science minor.
Johnson had an interest in anchoring from an early age. Her journey started in when she first did an internship in Almanac at the Capitol Intern.

After completing her internship, she began anchoring and reporting work for the EP-TC.
